Disco Soup!

New Jersey Farmers Against Hunger will be participating in the Feeding the 5000 Disco Soup Event on September 20th - Join us in NYC for this event focusing on food waste and recovery! Super Pier (15th Street and Westside Highway/Hudson River - Pier 57) 5-9 pm
You’re invited to a free party to chop, peel and prepare surplus fruit and vegetables to the sound of dance music. All with fresh ingredients that would have otherwise been wasted and salvaged from farms around New York and New Jersey: blemished tomatoes, supersized watermelons, surplus squash and other fresh delicious produce.

The aim of the event is to raise awareness of the unimaginable levels of food waste globally and catalyze action by promoting the delicious solutions to food waste.

(Closest subways are 8th Ave. L Train and 14th St A,C, E)

A Taste of Lousiana
Dinner on the Farm!

Join us September 15th for some authentic creole cooking from chef Norman Jones of the Chesterfield Inn ! The evening includes a buffet of delicious New Orleans-style dishes (don't worry, Norman tamed a few down for those less adventurous!), including a crawfish and corn pot and jambalaya, as well as much more! Also included with your ticket is a glass of beer or wine--there will be a cash bar (with Hurricanes, too!) available when that is gone! Zydeco music will keep the mood lively! Hlubik Farms is located at 92 Georgetown-Chesterfield Road, Chesterfield NJ.
ALL SEATING IS SOLD OUT!
THANK YOU ALL!
