OUR ROOT CAUSE

ANNUAL GIVING CAMPAIGN 2022

Thank you for your continued support of the New Jersey Agricultural Society.

Your membership enables us to nurture and grow the future of agriculture in communities across our state.
In 2022, the contributions of supporters like you had an enormous impact!

That support helped our Farmers Against Hunger program work with over 50 farm and grocer partners to distribute over 1.5 million pounds of fresh, locally-grown produce to food-insecure community members throughout NJ.

Through affiliations with over 30 schools across the state, our Learning Through Gardening program introduced almost 10,000 of our youngest citizens to farming by providing teachers with everything they need for their elementary school children to plant, tend, harvest, and eat the foods they grew in their own school gardens.

And, to ensure that farming has a bright future in New Jersey, class 11 of our Leadership Program is preparing to graduate as we ramp up to recruit our 12th cohort of agriculture champions for 2023!

Without you, our programs would not be possible!

Whether you are a farmer or someone who appreciates our farmers, we hope you will continue to stand with us in our common cause—our Root Cause—to keep New Jersey green, growing, and nourished!
