Composting Workshop with Ezra Tischler,  Assistant Farm Manager at Rancocas Creek Farm, and  NJ Agricultural Society.
Monday, September 16, 2024
6pm-8pm

Join us as Ezra shares his 10 years of expertise in the creation and use of composting. Use this information to get your gardens ready for the fall season!

Some of the questions he will answer are:
  • What is involved in the process of composting?
  • What are the benefits of using composted soil in your garden?
  • How can one get started with composting?
  • How does Rancocas Creek Farm incorporate composting into the farm?
  • How can someone support Rancocas Creek Farm's composting efforts

You will have an opportunity to hear about how composting can turn your fruit and vegetable peels into garden soil gold! You will receive a composting collection container so you can get started right away.  Collecting produce scraps not only reduces what goes into our landfills, but also can be converted into rich soil.

The cost for this event is $35 per person. PLEASE BRING CASH OR CHECK FOR $35. Checks are made payable to New Jersey Agricultural Society.

Come out and join Ezra and Farmers Against Hunger at Rainbow Meadow Learning Garden!
