Lacto-Fermentation Workshop with Natalie Winch, author of Ditch the Drive-Thru, and NJ Agricultural Society

Come get hands-on with the Farmers Against Hunger Team at Rainbow Meadow Learning Gardens and explore the world of lacto-fermentation with fresh produce from the garden and the Garden State!
• Learn the process and benefits of lacto-fermentation
• Find out what foods work best for fermenting
• Hear tips for sourcing produce from farmers and CSAs
• Go home with your own freshly fermented creations like kimchi, ginger carrots, and vinaigrette dressings

Natalie will share strategies for making the most of local produce for fermentation, canning, and dehydrating—and she’ll be available to sign copies of her book (books available for purchase at the event).

The cost for this event is $30 per person and includes all materials. PLEASE BRING CASH OR CHECK FOR $30. Write check to New Jersey Agricultural Society.
