Lacto-Fermentation Workshop with Natalie Winch, Author of Ditch the Drive-Thru and NJ Agricultural Society.
Monday, September 9, 2024
6pm-8pm

Join us as Natalie shares her expertise in techniques in lacto-fermentation with produce from the garden. Some of the questions she will answer are:
  • What is lacto-fermentation?
  • How does this process work?
  • What foods work best in this process?
  • What are the benefits of eating fermented garden foods?

You will have an opportunity to hear about Natalie's strategies for making the most of relationships with local farmers  and CSA's in order to use fresh produce in fermentation, canning and dehydrating.

Participants will go home with garden produce that has been prepared using the fermentation technique.

There will be an opportunity to ask Natalie about her book and even get her to sign your purchased copy! (Books are available for sale at the event)

The cost for this event is $30 per person. PLEASE BRING CASH OR CHECK FOR $30. Checks are made payable to New Jersey Agricultural Society

Come out and join Natalie and Farmers Against Hunger at Rainbow Meadow Learning Garden!
