Last season, Farmers Against Hunger handled over 100,000 lbs of potatoes alone. Produce is heavy and anyone who has gleaned with us knows that the bins fill up and can quickly amount to over 1000 lbs each. As we expand our capacity, we have decided it is time to purchase an electric pallet jack. Our drivers will become trained on using the pallet jack, making operations safer and more efficient as we expand to collect more fresh produce.
