Schedule a volunteer group to glean!

Do you have a group of 10-20 individuals, interested in a volunteer project to help their neighbors across New Jersey? Consider organizing a trip to a local farm with Farmers Against Hunger, to harvest surplus produce ("glean") for families in need. We are happy to work with corporate groups, schools, and any other organizations interested in engaging their members in meaningful community service.

Interested? Fill out the inquiry form below and we will get in touch to discuss options.

Gleaning FAQ
FAH partners with over 25 farms statewide that invite volunteers on-site to glean. The specific location and crop varies depending on the season and a range of other variables. Although gleaning opportunities are not always predictable, we can pencil in tentative dates at certain farms where we know surplus crops are typically available.

Volunteer Group Inquiry Form:

Note: Children under 10 years of age and large groups over 20 people may not be able to join us at certain farms. Please inquire when scheduling.
