​All nominations must come from active NJAS members.
Gold Medallion
Presented to individuals who have dedicated their lives to NJ agriculture, making significant contributions to the industry. Recipients include farmers, agribusiness members, and career employees who have provided leadership in various statewide agricultural organizations, created advanced marketing plans or business management tools, and otherwise taken extraordinary steps to advance the industry. This award is presented at the Society’s Annual Dinner Gala, held each spring.

Century Farm Award
Presented to a NJ farm that has been in the same family and operational for at least 100 years. This award is presented at the Society’s Annual Dinner Gala, held each spring. For this award, once a nomination is submitted, the nominee will remain in the pool for consideration in subsequent years.

Phillip Alampi Marketing Award
Presented to a member of the agribusiness industry (other than a farm market) that excels in promoting New Jersey agriculture, with innovative ideas that create or enhance markets to increase sales. This award is presented at the NJ State Agricultural Convention, during the Ag Society Luncheon.

Tony Russo Farmers Marketing Award 
Presented to a farm market that develops unique marketing plans and tools to promote the sale of farm products to the non-farm public. This award is presented at the NJ State Agricultural Convention, during the Ag Society Luncheon.​
